Look to the skies

Did you see the wonderful sunrise this morning? It only lasted a few minutes here, too good a chance to miss so a few snaps from the back garden. A beautiful start to the day.

Then it was gone and the grey clouds came over :o(

  1. How awesome! I love your beautiful photos. This one is just a foretaste of what it will be like when the Lord returns. ~Liz

  2. I caught a glimpse too and I was very happy as I don't usually see it! It was lovely, I took a photo too! Mine was not quite as nice as yours and also turned grey very quickly.

  3. Just found your blog via Louise's comment on mine this morning. I too saw the lovely sky and managed to photograph it before it disappeared, wasn't it wonderful? I see from a previous post that you have recently visited one of my favourite places in Derbyshire - Castleton. I'll be back to visit again:)

  6. Yes, I did see it, as I was driving to work.

Inevitably, however, I was looking at it and thinking, "Hmmm. This 'll be due to that whopping great low pressure area South of Iceland... it's probably going to get a bit windy..."

  8. Kate, it was only there for five minutes, you'll have to get up a bit earlier to catch it. Louise saw it, your photo is good Louise, your clouds are more fluffier than mine.

Lizbeth, I got that feeling also, if that's what heaven is like I shall be glad to go. Now now Cyberkim, don't put the dampeners on it. It has been windy today though, those poor people in Australia who now have to face a cyclone,
